The Town of South Windsor's Bark Park opened its gates in November 18, 2007 and has been a huge success. This long awaited dog park features separate areas for small and large dogs, water and clean up stations and agility equipment. Set next to beautiful Nevers Road Park, this is a wonderful addition for South Windsor's residents and their four footed friends.

What’s New?

• A new shed will be delivered next week, thanks to the SW Kennel Club!  Many thanks for this generous donation!
• Water is coming!!!!  A new underground well for water is going to be dug next week!  Right now, it looks as though is will be put it outside the fence (between the fence and the trail) about 20 feet from the Bark of Fame sign (toward the Community Center).  It will be a hand pump spigot.  We’ll hang a nice galvanized bucket from it. No more carrying your own water in to the park! 
• Plans are also in the works for two wooden gazebo type structures (one in each side) for the purpose of shade.  These will be especially helpful during the warmer months!
